Trigg Members take on Summer of Surf

On Sunday the 20th of November, Trigg Island Surf Sports members, took to the City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club, for the Summer of Surf competition, presented by Shaw & Partners.
With this week being a full calendar, filled with events as athletes prepare for The Doctor, The Summer of Surf event was a perfect start to get everyone up and about for the week.

The event had a number of big named competitors from the eastern states compete, giving the WA competitors an extra bout of competition that they might not usually face.
Trigg Island SLSC had a large number of racers compete, who all demonstrated the strength and hard work they’ve been putting in. As you can see from the results below, representation and finishes were strong by all age groups we had competing, which helped Trigg Island take out the overall club standings for the event, finishing 59 points clear of the second overall-placed club.
