Trigg Island success at Heart180 Enduro

The Heart180 Enduro Series, hosted at the City of Perth SLSC, bought a lot of excitement for spectators and competitors. Parents, spectators, and competitors were given a treat with the appearance of Guy Leech, an Ironman legend, whom many have looked up to in their pursuit of success.
Trigg Island SLSC had a large number of representatives through the youth and open age groups, all of whom showed the hard work they had been putting in over the off-season, with 3 members finishing in the top 3 in their respective races.
Grace McManis finished 3rd in the U/17 Ironwoman, Femke Negus finished 1st in the U/19 Ironwoman, and Ceris Humble finished 2nd in the Open Ironwoman event.
All representatives did an incredible job of pushing themselves and giving their all, whilst some may be disappointed, we can only see it getting better and better as the season progresses.

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club acknowledges the traditional owners, the Whadjuk People of the Noongar Nation, of the beach on which we work and play. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and are grateful for their continuing connection to the land, sea and sky.
