Christmas Eve Club Comp Fun!!!

Group photo, by the beach.

Let’s throw it back to pre Christmas and New Year break, when we ran a very special training session for all our club members.
Usually on Saturday mornings, you’d see the beach a buzz with our Masters, Iron, Ski and Youth Board crew, training hard in season for comps coming up. However on Christmas Eve of 2022, we combined them all to create a super session, filled with competition for all to enjoy.
Members took part in multiple events including:
– Iron Race
– Ski Race
– All in Surf Race
– Board Race
… and a mixture of team events

This early Chrissy present, that bought smiles to everyone, was followed by a big dip and body surfing in the ocean, before heading up to the Surf Club for bacon and egg burgers, cooked by fabulous volunteers who took the time to make sure everyone was happy and fed.

A special shoutout to those volunteers for their cooking skills, as well as Andrew Mosel, our high performance coach for putting together this special session for all members to enjoy.
Merry belated Christmas everyone!

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club acknowledges the traditional owners, the Whadjuk People of the Noongar Nation, of the beach on which we work and play. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and are grateful for their continuing connection to the land, sea and sky.
