Trigg Island SLSC demonstrates Excellence with Humility at the SunSmart Youth/Open Carnival – Secret Harbour

Perfect conditions, sunny skies, and a big showing of the green and red army are what you would’ve witnessed if you made the trip to Secret Harbour on the 14th of January.
Members of all ages hit the beach to compete against each other in one of the many carnivals blocking the calendar, as everyone gears up and prepares for the upcoming State Championships followed by Aussies.

Trigg Island had arguably the largest number of competitors on the day, demonstrating the power of community through their continued support of one another, and showing sportsmanship in the heat of competition. With points now being crucial as we come to the pointy end of the season, it was Trigg and North Cottesloe who finished equal first with 269 points each, followed by City of Bunbury SLSC (184) and City of Perth SLSC (154)

We’d like to thank all of our members who made the early trip for the event, for their continued support and representation of our organisation, our Head Performance, and Development Coach – Andrew Mosel, for his efforts and time in getting everyone organised and taking down equipment for the day, and to the Secret Harbour SLSC, who welcomed so many and set up a fantastic event for all members of the SLS community to enjoy.
