Trigg Island Members selected for Western Suns!

Over the past few months, coaches of the Western Suns (WA’s Surf Sports representative team) have been busy, watching athletes at a number of events around Perth, to select their newest team.
With the Surf Life Saving Interstate Championships just over a month away, the team has officially been announced.

We’d like to congratulate the following 7 members for their selection into the Western Suns team, heading to Maroubra Beach in New South Wales, to compete in January:

– Daniel Humble (Open, Male)
– Ben Jones (Open, Male)
– Sophie Lloyd (Open, Female)
– Jazmin Shipway-Carr (Open, Female)
– Benjamin Toms (Youth, Male)
– Annika Negus (Youth, Female)
– Macy Boisvert (U14, Female)

We’d also like to extend congratulations to the following athletes, who have been selected for the Super Surf Teams League:

– Daniel Humble (Scarboro Sunsets)
– Ben Jones (Scarboro Sunsets)
– Jazmin Shipway-Carr (Scarboro Sunsets)
– Selma Alibegovic (Broome Pearlers)
– Samantha Brigden (Broome Pearlers)
– Sophie Lloyd (Broome Pearlers)

The Super Surf League Teams will again be competing at Maroubra Beach, prior to the Interstate Championships, from the 13th-15th of January.
Congratulations to all selected, we can’t wait to watch and see you succeed for yourselves, our state, and our club.
