Back to Back State Board Riding Champions!

Congratulations to our Trigg Island members who competed on Saturday at the 2024 SLSWA SunSmart Board Riding Championships. The event was scheduled to happen earlier in May, however due to poor surf conditions, had been postponed to the 8th of June, this postponement enabled more people to enter with the excitement of larger swell and better conditions.

Making the most of the conditions, our members came out in force to retain the championship pennant for another season. Competitors spanned across all age groups, with podium finishes in almost every event that had been entered. At the completion of the event, Trigg Island SLSC topped the live standings board 62 points clear of 2nd placed Sorrento SLSC, a testament to our members and the efforts they put into their competitions.
