Reece Baker Inducted into the SLSWA Sporting Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Trigg Island SLSC member Reece Baker, who on Saturday night at the 2024 Surf Life Saving WA Awards of Excellence, was inducted into the Sporting Hall of Fame.

Reece has been a member of Trigg Island SLSC for 24 years, and has acquired a long list of accolades in this time, demonstrating his sporting prowess. In addition to being a gun athlete, Reece has dedicated his time to developing the future, serving as a sports committee member from 2015-2019, and a SLSWA Strategic Committee Member from 2018-2021. We are incredibly fortunate that Reece now volunteers his time to coaching, as a current ski coach at Trigg Island.

On Saturday night, Reece touched on his career, the people and coaches that helped lift him to the heights he reached, and the camaraderie of his team mates. It was fitting that some of those same people were able to be there and share the night with him as we celebrated.
