Olly spoke highly of his experience, saying – “It was everything I expected it to be, hard, exciting, challenging and most of all fun. I was within touching distance of the podium which has only made me want to train harder for the season ahead. It was great to race against the competitors from the East Coast, and train alongside some of the best athletes in the sport”.

Mozzy ran a coaching workshop for local WA coaches, which was assessed by a representative of SLSA’s Surf Sports Committee, flown in from Queensland, to gain his accreditation.

It’s been a huge week and weekend of our members leveling up, pushing themselves to be their best, and stepping outside of their comfort zones to achieve great things.

With the season only beginning we cannot wait to see what lies ahead.

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club acknowledges the traditional owners, the Whadjuk People of the Noongar Nation, of the beach on which we work and play. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and are grateful for their continuing connection to the land, sea and sky.
