Fuel to Go & Play WA Nipper Championships

Congratulations to our Trigg Island Nippers, who completed a big weekend of competition over the Labor Day Long Weekend. The 2025 Fuel to Go & Play WA Nipper Championships (Beach & Water) was hosted by our club, and proved to be a massive weekend, with high numbers of members, competitors, families, and friends flocking to our beach to be involved.
The weekend provided many different challenges for all competitors, with Saturday providing the calmest of conditions before it started ramping up, finishing with choppy waters on the Monday.

Our Nipper competitors finished with a total of 107 points, after some impressive displays of sportsmanship and competitiveness.
In total our little weapons came home with 4 gold medals and 7 Bronze medals, but most importantly they came away with plenty of memories.
Congratulations to Sorrento Surf Lifesaving Club, who won the Champion Nipper Club Pennant, and to Mullaloo Surf Lifesaving Club who were crowned the most improved club. The end of the Nipper Championships, also marked the end of the competition calendar for our Nipper members, but fear not our Nipper program continues through to March 23rd.
Great work to all our young competitors who raced, and gave it their all. We look forward to doing it all again next season!
