Fuel to Go & Play Surf League Rd. 3

The final round for the 2024 / 2024 Fuel to Go & Play Surf League happened on Saturday, at Trigg Beach. The 3 round series, was used as selection trials for the WA Youth Pathway team, travelling in April 2025, and the Western Suns, travelling in December to compete in the Ocean / Beach Interstate Championships.
Trigg members put on an impressive display over all 3 weekends. Young gun Ellie Neervoort continued her exceptional form to have a strong finish in her events, as did Olly Browne and Billy Hawkes, demonstrating the future is bright at Trigg Island SLSC.
When it came to team events, our open and U17 competitors put on a showcase, with both our open male & open female teams taking the win in the prestigious taplin event.

We look forward to watching our competitors, under the watchful guise of our talented coaches, and recent National Coach of the Year recipient, our Head of Athlete Development & Coach, Andrew Mosel, as they continue their exceptional form throughout the season.
