Department of Local Government, Sports, and Cultural Industries, supporting Trigg Island SLSC programs!

We have an exciting announcement to make!

Recently, Trigg Island SLSC, was awarded a grant by the DLGSCI, to drive, continue and extend our Silver Salties – Swimming and Surfing program, and our Migrant Water Safety Lessons.
Being able to provide these programs, helps promote inclusivity within our organization by catering to a broader community of individuals, who need a social outlet, whilst being educated on the risks and rewards of our beautiful coast.

As you would have seen in recent weeks, we were looking for a casual Community Engagement Coordinator, to drive these programs, and ensure their growth in the future. Applications have since closed for this role.

We look forward to what opportunities this presents for our members and our community.

Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club acknowledges the traditional owners, the Whadjuk People of the Noongar Nation, of the beach on which we work and play. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and are grateful for their continuing connection to the land, sea and sky.
