5th Place Finish at the SLSWA IRB State Championships

Things got wild on Sunday the 23rd of June at Trigg Beach, when Trigg Island SLSC hosted the 2024 SLSWA IRB State Championships. The weather was a little grey, but the waves were pumping! Sending competitors and boats in all directions (sometimes even upside down)
Of course, this is what the thrill seeking IRB racers live for, and so whilst spectators stood on the shore, gasping at what was happening in front of them, the competitors were laughing, and enjoying themselves.

Trigg Island SLSC had a great turnout of competitors, and across all events walked away with 5 medals, and a total of 30 points, putting them in 5th place n the ladder.
Mullaloo SLSC won the State Championship Pennant for a 7th Year in a row, topping the leaderboard with 144 points.
Congratulations to our speed demons on a great carnival, and an impressive IRB Season.
