5th Place at the 2024 SLSWA Pool Rescue Championships

TISLSC member in pool

From the 13th – 14th of July, HBF Stadium in Mt. Claremont, became the hub for the 2024 SLSWA Pool Rescue Championships.
Over the 2 days, 11 Trigg Island SLSC members competed in a wide variety of events, including Obstacles, Manikin Carry, and Relays.
We had some dominant performances throughout the weekend, most notably by our State and International representatives, plus world record holders – Harrison Hynes & Jake Smith. Other standouts came from our younger members, in the U11, U13, and U14 age categories, showing that there’s development within our club in the pool rescue space, and that our future is bright.

At the end of the event Trigg Island SLSC finished with a total of 241 points and 43 medals, a commendable feat that was held by a small team of 11 competitors!
