2024 SLSWA Endurance Championships

Fuel to Go & Play WA Endurance Champs

The carnival season has begun, with the 2024 Fuel to Go and Play WA Endurance Championships taking place at Fremantle SLSC.
Members were challenged to compete in longer course events, putting to the test their stamina and endurance as they faced races that went up to 7kms long.
Trigg Island SLSC competitors showed that their off-season training had been paying off, with 28 medals tallied. A notable performance came in the Under 15 3.5 KM Board Race, where it was a clean sweep on the podium, With Billy Hawkes, Bo Watters, and Isaac May snapping up the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.

In total Trigg Island SLSC accrued 181 Points, finishing 2nd in the Club Standings. The Endurance Championship Pennant was awarded to Sorrento SLSC, who finished well and truly clear of the rest, with a total of 318 Points.
